GIS for emergeny management

The project is carried out in cooperation with Linköping University and is concerned with studies of the effects of supporting command and control staff by computerized GIS systems.

Two papers from the projcet by Rego Granlund et al have been accepted for HCI International 2011: "Differences Between Students and Professionals While Using a GPS based GIS in an Emergency Response Study" and "The Effect of a GIS on Learning with regards to Performance and Communication in Municipal Crisis Response"
