ICT support in home health care

The objective of the project is to study and develop enabling technologies for new everyday IT-based systems from a human-centred perspective with an emphasis on internet-embedded residential and mobile services for the citizen. The project is linked to ongoing research on home communication, understood as an area concerned with systems and services delivered in the home or other everyday whereabouts, emphasizing robust and flexible ways for the human to interact with and control the ICT artefacts in everyday environments, resident and mobile. Investigation of information needs for distributed care is funded by Vinnova through the regional innovation initiative "Hälsans Nya Verktyg".
